Mission For Vision, along with other multilateral agencies, is currently supporting 110,000 free eye surgeries per annum through its eight partner hospitals
 
In a developing country like India, rural population still have difficulty in accessing quality eye treatment. Recognizing the magnitude of the problem and the need to address this, Mission for Vision (MFV) was formed by :
Mr. Arjun Waney, Mr. J M Chanrai, Mr. D.N.Budhrani,
Mr. M B Chanrai, Mr. C.Kewalramani and Mr. Hiroo Makhijani.
 
Vision : To restore gift of vision to every visually impaired human being, irrespective of nationality, religion or socio-economic status.
Mission : To establish in partnership a hospit al in every State of India providing free high quality eye care to the rural poor.
Goal : Eradicate curable blindness in India.
